The most common methods are the lashing down, horizontal lashing, or inclined lashing. In the case of lashing down, the cargo to be transported is covered and pressed down against the loading bed. For this variant, at least two straps are required. For diagonal lashing, two straps are attached diagonally along each side of the cargo. At least 8 straps are required for inclined lashing. Two lashing straps are fastened to the longitudinal and transverse sides so as to absorb all the forces during the ride.
