Chat may be buggy

For me it looks like that the chat is somehow buggy. I saw HodenPrellung, a friend of mine, online. But he left again, quick. He showed up in the chat again, but only for short and lft again.

I checkes with him after by e-mail. He said I was shown online and offline for him while he was in the chat program. So is it possible, that the chat program shows users On- and offline while they are online all time?
