  This is funny! I don’t know why the application detects your IP from Germany. I think to remove the flags because there are misleading.

    The red flag, when used by pirates, came to mean “no quarter given”,
    meaning that no mercy would be shown and no life would be spared,

    Thanks for the quick response.
    
    Can they be updated?
    Manually or automatically, when someone travels?
    
    Otherwise removing them flags might be good.
    Might def be misleading when someone is serving on the high seas, where they are no real locations
    (not that this would be relevant for most).
